The Golf Club At Frisco Lakes opened for play August of 2008. The golf course was designed by Gary Stephenson.
The front nine weaves its way through the open countryside, and the back nine winds through the current community. With 5 sets of tees, the golf course has the perfect yardage for all skill levels. Play from a leisurely 5047 or a challenging 7099 yards. The course has generous landing areas and challenging Mini-Verde Bermuda grass greens protected with plenty of slope, undulation, and some spines.
#4 is a short, 347 yard,par-4 hole that offers a good risk reward opportunity off the tee box - play it safe to the left side or try to land in the small fairway between a large sloping back bunker and the huge 100 yard long bunker challenge.
#5 is a challenging 251 yard par 3 running adjacent to Lake Lewisville.
#7. a 436 yard par-4 offers a good risk reward opportunity off the tee box - should you play it safe or try to carry the ravine and trees to make a shorter route to the green? If you are too far right trees can block your approach to the green.
# 16 is a short, but challenging, 341 yard par 4 beginning with peninsula style tee boxes and ending with a peninsula style green.
#17 a par 3 and the shortest on the course at 135 yards has you hitting to an island green.
#18 is a 556 yard par five which runs up-hill off the tee box, then turns right and heads down-hill to a well protected tough green that has water and a huge bunker half way around it.
Black tees: par-72, 7,099 yards, 74.3 / 131
Gold tees: par-72, 6,670 yards, 72.3 / 127
Blue tees: par-72, 6,234 yards, 70.4 / 123
White tees: par-72, 5,648 yards, 67.8 / 114

A nice lay out for the golf course. The nines have been switched so that #1 is now #10 which is confusing to my hybrid gps rangefinder. The nines are still numbered as original. The course provides a variety of scenery including pristine country conditions on the back nine and modern "country club" appearance of homes lining the fairways on the front.
